Tucked away in historic Mineral Point, Pendarvis celebrates the 20th century preservation efforts of
Happy 4th of July!
On this day in 1836, Wisconsin Territory was created. This included present day Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and the eastern halves of the Dakotas. The first territorial governor Henry Dodge and first secretary John Horner were inaugurated here in Mineral Point.

Join us tomorrow, Friday, June 20, for our Behind the Scenes tour! This 2 hour tour takes visitors through rooms and buildings usually off limits to visitors. This tour will focus on Bob and Edgar’s private life at Pendarvis from 1935-1970 and how they were able to make a small Cornish cottage into a nationally renowned restaurant.
